Unlike many Web3 projects, which are designed as alternatives to current governance models implemented by nation states, IP5 is conceived as an innovative solution tu support and enhance those governance models.
IP5 aims to position itself hierarchically below geopolitics, to be perceived as a transversal tool adapted to the governance models of all cultures and traditions.
Legal Framework
The IP5 Association, based in Spain, is not only committed to developing innovative technological solutions in the Web3/Web4 space, but also fully understands the importance of operating within a clear and collaborative legal framework. With this in mind, IP5 is actively engaged in joint initiatives with public institutions at the provincial, regional (Autonomous Communities), and national levels in Spain. Moreover, recognizing the relevance and opportunities provided by the European Union, IP5 maintains an attentive and proactive stance toward its directives and agenda.
We acknowledge that technological progress must go hand in hand with legal adaptation. For this reason, IP5 actively participates in legal sandboxes—controlled environments for testing innovative business models and solutions under regulatory supervision. At IP5, we recognize and respect the importance of the legal sovereignty of each nation-state. Under this principle, we acknowledge that every country has its own set of laws, regulations, and norms governing the operation of services and technologies within its borders.
For this reason, the services offered by IP5 in a given nation-state are only activated and operated once the competent authorities of that state have validated and confirmed their legal compliance. This validation ensures that our services meet not only technological and quality standards but also local legal and regulatory requirements.
This approach guarantees that IP5 operates in full compliance with the laws of each territory, respecting legal sovereignty and reinforcing trust among our users, partners, and governmental authorities. TERRITORIALITY PRINCIPLE

Under the Territoriality Principle, we establish that in order for our services to be available and operational in a nation-state, there must be at least one mining node physically present within that state's territory.
This local presence not only ensures the efficiency and stability of our services but also strengthens trust and engagement with the IP5 user community in that region. By hosting a mining node on-site, we secure a decentralized infrastructure that respects and acknowledges the geographic proximity and sovereignty of each nation-state.
